This is the 3rd Mayfield/2nd Belmont craft that entered the survivors race together, will it hold together?
The pre-race paddle, all competitors checked their boats had not been tampered with overnight. All ok for us (also gave time to see the other boats and work out who to target with flour bombs).
The entrants all lined up for the Survivors race a no rules race to the finish, we came 3rd and won the most accurate flour bombers award.
The Jobo Campsite as viewed from the leaders camp, they got their fire going and I hear the meal was ok.
The Kobo campsite as viewed from Camels tent, anyone wanting to camp in this beauty just book into Glenrock Scout Camp, the best place on earth.
The Kobo tent, believe it or not that is the more roomy and the least wet of the two
One of the many challenges held over the weekend, Patrols had to lift their PL on the pole so that he was completely out of the water. Now who is the biggest member of the patrols, one guess.
The award ceremopny shown here is the biggest eater award being presented
This is a member of 3rd Mayfield getting down and dirty with his tree planting group.
This is a shot from the first morning's planting, to give some perspective this is taken from the middle of the field!!!
Hunter and Coastal Activities Team were nice enough to bring down their Flying Fox to play on, it was a great ride, all the Scouts loved it.
This is part of the long strech planted on day 2, the strip went over 3 hills, it was massive!!
Where we camped, the lovely camp Karrajong near Wagga Wagga.
Hawker (the Leader from 2nd Belmont we camp with) showing off the great scout fashion sense.
Our Scouts working hard solving the problems of salinity in a workshop put on by Wagga Wagga City Council.
